About the Dream Maker Auction

The Dream Factory’s Dream Maker Auction is a night we eagerly anticipate each year. We are deeply grateful to our Dream Community, whose generosity and commitment continue to inspire us. Your support makes an incredible difference for Dream Kids and their families in Manitoba.

In 2025, The Dream Maker Auction raised over $1.1 million - another incredible year!

This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the generosity of our Dream Community: each Silent Auction bid, raffle ticket, and donation contributed to this amazing success!

This year's signature event was nothing short of magical!

One of the most unforgettable moments of the night came thanks to the incredible generosity of the Glays Family, who surprised us all with a matching donation. Their gift doubled the impact of 14 special dream lots — turning them into 28 dreams come true! From Dream Kids cheering on their soccer heroes in Spain, to brand-new bedroom makeovers made just for them, the night was filled with memories in the making.

Dream Kids greeted guests at the doors and led them to their seats - or to the Kinsmen Dream Arcade to challenge them to a friendly game! Throughout the night, we got to share updates our brand new community space with our new video projects, made in partnership with CoPilot and supported by Bonafide Construction Solutions. These short films help us show the real impact The Dream Factory has on sick kids and their families in Manitoba.

A true highlight of the night came when Dream Kid Kingston and his family took to the stage to chat with our host Mark Morris about his Dream Factory journey. It was extremely special to hear him recall that just thinking about his upcoming dream brought him so much hope and joy during his difficult medical journey.

The Live Auction brought the energy to a whole new level - with once-in-a-lifetime experiences like a Moroccan getaway, exclusive dinner parties, and unforgettable fishing trips. Our community showed up in full force to make dreams come true.

After the Live Auction ended, guests headed to the dance floor to jam out with the Big City All Star Band! It was truly a night to remember - all this kindness made for a heartwarming night, and we could not be more grateful. Thank you to all of our guests, everyone who bid in the Silent and Live Auctions, every donor, and all of our volunteers for bringing the Dream Maker Auction to life!
