Introducing the WARRIOR Hot Chocolate!

Starting December 1st - the WARRIOR Hot Chocolate will be safely available for take out at Park Line Coffee (685 Osborne). This special hot chocolate was created with Dream Kid Travis in mind as a way to provide encouragement during his hard fought battle and support his dream come true.

The WARRIOR sells for $4.95 and consists of Callebaut cocoa, toasted marshmallow syrup, steamed milk (or alternative) and topped with graham crackers (requested by Travis himself!) and a homemade marshmallow from local confectionary “What the Fluff Mallow Co.”.

$2 from each hot chocolate sold will be donated to The Dream Factory to support Travis’s Dream.

What’s more - our friends Amber van den Broek, Professional REALTOR®, Bonafide Carpentry, Lehigh Cement, MJ Roofing and an anonymous donor will EACH be matching every donation up to $1000! That means every hot chocolate sold equals $5 for Travis’s Dream!

Together, we can celebrate Travis and all of our warriors and help make more dreams come true!

Meet Travis

A warrior dreaming of the perfect space to hang out and relax.

A Letter from Travis’s Family

Travis is 15 years old. For the most part, he’s your average teenager - but one with a string of some pretty bad medical luck. Over the last few months, Travis has had 6 surgeries.

In February, he was diagnosed with a Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma (a benign tumour at the back of the nasal cavity) that has grown and spread rapidly through his face, to both his brain and his skull. Over the course of the last few months, there have been many other health issues to arise during surgery that have so far prevented the surgical team from completely removing the tumour.

To his doctors, Travis has become a bit of a medical enigma. His surgeons are still searching for answers and solutions on how to safely remove the tumour.

It’s not entirely out of character for Travis, who has always been a bit of an enigma — just not medically.

He is a brilliant thinker and a creative soul, with a very quick wit that is always thinking outside of the box. These are all qualities that his friends love about him. Travis and his best friends love to hang out, watch YouTube or anime, and laugh over Snapchat about all of their inside jokes.

As a typical teenager, he loves his gaming computer, eating burgers, and drinking hot chocolate.

One of the things that has been toughest on Travis has been wanting to hangout with friends or work out, but instead being stuck in the hospital. That’s part of why his dream come true is to have his room transformed into a fun spot for him and his buddies to hang out, and a safe space for him to come home to after tough surgeries and appointments.

One thing is for sure, Travis is a true warrior.
