Exchange District Pharmacy and Greencrest Pharmacy are locally owned businesses that are passionate about giving back in their community. We've teamed up with The Dream Factory once again to help make a Dream come true for a very special young lady in our province.

Dream Kid Emma loves to cook and bake- especially lemon cream pie and butter chicken - so we are hosting another good old-fashioned bake sale to help raise funds to send Emma and her family on a Dream Trip to Paris!

The Big Bake Sale will be MORE than just a bake sale! We will have live music, activities, face painting, and cookie decorating on-site! The Big Bake Sale will be open to any and all folks in the community who wish to join in on the family-friendly fun!

Meet Emma

Dream Kid Emma is a thoughtful teenager who loves to cook and bake. Her parents and family rave about how good her lemon cream pie is!

In November 2022, Emma went to a routine eye appointment. The eye doctor found that Emma was experiencing some pressure on her optic nerve, and Emma had to see even more doctors.

After an MRI, Emma's family's worst fears were realized, Emma was diagnosed with a mass on her brain.

"I remember sitting on the phone listening to the doctor thinking, 'this is not actually happening." Emma's mom shared. Emma went straight to the hospital and the next morning; she was undergoing brain surgery.

Today, Emma is doing a lot better! Doctors say the therapy is working and Emma has been feeling good lately. She enjoys hanging out with friends, watching hockey (she's a Calgary Flames fan!), and playing games with her family.

But Emma's got something big to look forward to as well: a dream come true!

Emma's dream is to visit Paris, France! She's very excited to visit all the markets and small shops, take in the sights, and eat some great food.
