“I’m thrilled to have been chosen as the honorary spokesman for The Dream Factory. After having the opportunity to be involved with them during the ‘Goals for Dreams’ hockey fundraiser, it was clear to me this was a cause I wanted to be involved in. I look forward to helping sick children realize their dreams!” – Andrew Ladd
Benjamin Jeremiah, aka BJ is eight-years-old and lives with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, an illness that attacks the skin and bone cells. For BJ, it started with a tumor on his spine, which then developed into another tumor on his hip. When asked what his special dream was, without hesitation BJ asked if he could have an X-Box Kinect with two controls, a headset, lots of speeding games and a computer. BJ was thrilled that his wish list would not only be taken care of , but would also include a flat screen television, a printer and Blu-Ray entertainment system – transforming his wish list into a very special dream come true.
