For kids battling life-threatening illnesses, the real world can be scary – but their dreams can carry them away to a place where kids can just be kids.

“I’m thrilled to have been chosen as the honorary spokesman for The Dream Factory. After having the opportunity to be involved with them during the ‘Goals for Dreams’ hockey fundraiser, it was clear to me this was a cause I wanted to be involved in. I look forward to helping sick children realize their dreams!” – Andrew Ladd

Dream Story

Nicole with Grandparents

Nicole

Nicole’s once-in-a-lifetime dream was to be reunited with her grandparents in the Philippines. During her treatments for cancer, Nicole was able to cope with the pain, the tiredness, and the endless needles by dreaming about her special trip. In December of 2011, Nicole and her family flew to the Philippines to enjoy a family Christmas with her extended family. Every day for Nicole was better than the day before and every day was so special because every day was another day she got to hug her grandma and grandpa in person.
