Endeavour's Rising Tide Challenge - Tower Climb

  • The Dream Factory 303-1 Wesley Avenue Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4C6 Canada (map)

Attention, Winnipeg! It's time to step up and make a difference. We're on a mission to give back to the community that has given us so much. And we're doing it in a BIG way!

$1 for each foot of Mt. Everest's Height!

We're calling all adrenaline junkies in Winnipeg to take in the Endeavour Rising Tide Challenge. This year, we're challenging teams of four to collectively conquer 28 floors of the iconic 201 Portage Building not once, not twice, but EIGHT times! That's right, we're talking about climbing the equivalent of Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Trail, which stands at a whopping 3,900 feet elevation.

But here's the catch - we need YOUR help to make it happen. Our goal is to raise funds for children with life-threatening illnesses to create memorable moments in their lives by collectively generating $1 for each foot of Mount Everest's height, which amounts to $29,029.

Why Mount Everest particularly? Because after the challenge in Winnipeg, our very own Grant White, Managing Partner at Endeavour Wealth Management, has pledged to climb an epic 36-hour challenge of 29,029 feet, the same height as Mount Everest, by hiking up the Whistler Blackcomb Mountain eight times!

So, are you up for the challenge? Gather your crew and get ready to push your limits. Whether you want to take on the challenge as a team or go all out solo, it's going to be an adventure like no other. Let's show our community that we're not just talk, we're action!

Together, we can bring more dreams to life.

Meet Chad.

Dream Kid Chad is a typical 13-year-old. He's got a great sense of humour and he does well in school. His favourite subject is science, aside from shops and gym. He's active and loves riding his bike.

But Chad has been through more than most teenagers. In March 2020, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma after doctors investigated a lump in his neck. He was all set to start chemotherapy when he and his family were presented the option of surgery.

Chad was the first child in Canada to have his type of cancer treated surgically. He woke up on his 11th birthday, cancer free! However, after a routine CT scan in the summer of 2021, doctors found that his cancer was back and in multiple places. The only option for treatment this time was chemotherapy.

Chad went through six rounds of treatment that resulted in four hospital stays. “Chad handled this whole experience amazingly,” his mom told us. “Of course, he’s had some hard moments, but for the most part he just accepted that this is happening. His outlook is, ‘okay, I have cancer now. What’s next?’'"

Chad had his last treatment in January 2022 and is now looking forward to a Dream Come True! His Dream is to visit the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida! And with your help, we can make Chad's Dream a reality!
