Meet Lincoln

A hard working Prairie boy with a big dream!

Letter from a Dream Parent

Let me introduce you to my son Lincoln - he is the best lil' boy any parents could ask for.

Lincoln, who is nearly 4, is just full of life. The first thing you need to know about Lincoln is that he's a hard worker. Every day, he helps his Mommy out on the horse farm doing chores: feeding, slinging rocks out of the way, and even raking poo. He loves tacking up his miniature horse, Hercules, and is always excited to help with anything the farm needs.

When those chores are done, he helps me cut the grass, fix the tractors, hook up the trucks to the trailers and haul whatever we need. He also loves to help with moving the buses for Daddy's business, too.

Lincoln has Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a disorder that causes severe damage to the lungs, digestive system, and organs in the body. It's a condition that, unfortunately, is fatal. Lincoln's lungs are failing him, and he depends on pancreatic enzymes to digest his food. But between daily physiotherapy and workouts and his medication, he lives a full and happy life.

Aside from being a hard worker, Lincoln is a very special boy in a lot of other ways, too. Lincoln loves his legos, and can be found building anything that a farm would or should have. He loves his tractors, Jurassic Park, and especially the BIG dinosaurs.

One of Lincoln's biggest loves - and something pretty special for him — is his private bus. In 2019, our family along with help from friends and The Dream Factory transformed a full sized charter bus into a private RV.

Because of his illness, Lincoln can't travel the same way that you or I can, it would just be too dangerous. With his private bus, Lincoln can travel and see the world without the fear of sharing air with commercial travellers. We're hoping to be able to take him on a Dream Road Trip on his private bus once it's safe to do so. He's already excited to see more animals, and maybe even a few dinosaurs.

Lincoln is a bit of a young foodie too! His favourites include his ribeye steaks, grilled veggies and he LOVES shrimp. We always try to cap off these awesome meals with ice cream, of course. His favourite is a nice, milk chocolate ice cream with fresh whipped cream and strawberries. Mmm!

Above all else, Lincoln is our miracle boy. We thank god for his smile every day, and we are so blessed to call him our son. Lincoln is loved by so many — he has over 20 aunts and uncles and countless cousins. With family all over this great country, we hope to visit them all when we're able.
