February Blog: Trips to Japan, Crock A Doodle Fun, and more!
We had a great start to 2019 here at The Dream Factory, and are already so excited about what is sure to be one of our best years yet! Here’s what we got up to this month, and what’s coming up!

Fairmont Winnipeg
In 2018, the Fairmont Winnipeg was a tremendous supporter of The Dream Factory. From participating in our September Dragon Boat Festival, to hosting the incredible Santa Suite, to always being there for our out of town families – we are so grateful for the Fairmont’s support. In January, they presented us with a cheque for over $15,000 – that’s a dream come true!

Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba
Next month we are so excited to be sending Dream Kid Daria and her family on a Dream Trip to Japan! To celebrate, our new friends at the Japanese Cultural Association of MB hosted Daria and her family for a beautiful Japanese lunch and shared a whole bunch of tips to make sure they see everything on their list! Thanks JCAM!

Crock A Doodle
To celebrate their 5th anniversary, Crock A Doodle decided to support The Dream Factory by donating proceeds from each 4” tile painted in the month of January. What’s more – they also hosted 30 dream kids who came by and painted their own ceramic creation. Thanks Crock A Doodle – our Dream Kids had an absolute blast!
The Month of Dreams presented by Manitoba Egg Farmers – Coming This March!
The Month of Dreams is one of The Dream Factory's longest running fundraising campaigns. Since 2008, this campaign has raised over $300,000! Funds are raised by schools, businesses and social organizations across Manitoba throughout the month of March.
The Month of Dreams is all about making dreams come true! Funds can be raised by selling “Dream Clouds” or “Dream Stickers”, or having a “Jeans Day”, Bake Sales, wearing green for a dream or whatever fundraising event you can dream of!
You can do one event, or one event per week! Every $100 raised is one step closer to making a dream come true! If your school, business, club or team wants to participate e-mail: dave@thedreamfactroy.ca
