Fairmont Winnipeg Santa Suite!
We had a truly wonderful December – starting with our friends at the Fairmont Winnipeg who hosted the beautiful Santa Suite. Decorated by Events By Emma, the Santa Suite was the destination for Santa photos this holiday season – and we saw hundreds of Winnipeg families stop by to have their photo taken and make a dream come true.
This year’s Santa Suite raised over $12,000 for The Dream Factory – that’s a dream come true!

Arianna’s Dream Pizza with Pizza Hotline!
You may have heard or seen the ads about “Arianna’s Pizza!” last month. The incredible team at Pizza Hotline invited Dream Kid Arianna to design her very own pizza, which they then put on the menu to help raise funds for her Disney Dream!
Arianna is an incredibly tough 4-year-old who has been bravely battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She loves the colour pink, princesses, and now pizza! Her dream is to visit Disney World to meet some of her favourite princesses – and because of Pizza Hotline, that dream is going to come true!
On December 20th, Pizza Hotline announced that they had raised $15,000 to support Arianna’s dream. To everyone who bought an Arianna Pizza or helped spread the word – thank you! Together, we made a dream come true!
What’s Next: Ice Dragon Boat Festival
Registration is NOW OPEN for one of this winter’s most unique events! The Dream Factory Ice Dragon Boat Festival (Feb 17th) is the most fun you’ll have with a group of 10 friends. Get your group together and take to the ice in a series of super fun races - all in support of making more dreams come true in 2019.

Letter From A Parent: Meet Colten
My name is Darrell Poirier. On November 14th, 2014 my wife Melissa and I, along with our son Liam were very excited to welcome our newest addition to our family, Colten. Or as we call him, Coco.
Colten came to us without any complications, but as Melissa was snuggling her beautiful new baby, she noticed a small scab on the back of his head. Little did we know, this would be the start of his battle with the ever so stubborn and rare Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH). At 4 weeks, another scab appeared on his neck. Then, by 8 weeks old, his torso was covered front to back.

We had an amazing December, but 2019 is looking to be one of our busiest years yet. As the number of dreams continues to rise, we rely more than ever on the incredible support of our community to be able to keep saying “YES!” to making dreams come true.
To everyone who helped make a dream come true in 2018 – thank you; and to those who are hoping to get involved in 2019, we can’t wait to chat with you!
