Thank you for choosing to support The Dream Factory by organizing a fundraiser for our Dream Kids. There are many ways you can help raise money for Manitoba children with life-threatening illnesses including a walk-a-thon, bake sale or concert. For assistance on your event, please contact us.
To host a successful fundraiser, you require a lot of resources. Surround yourself with people who are as enthusiastic, are as dedicated as you and who believe in the organization. Creating a strong team with individuals that can contribute their specific set of skills will ensure your event is a success.
To ensure a successful event, you must set specific goals. Determine how much you expect to raise, along with how much you expect to spend to determine what you are able to raise. Make a list of duties and delegate those duties between your team members.
The more people that know about your event, the better chances your event will be a success. Get the word out through your social media, word of mouth, local media, flyers, community centres – just to name a few examples.
Once your event has gone-off without a hitch, ensure that all your loose-ends are tied. Ensure that all funds have been collected from your donors and that all of the people who helped to make the event a success are properly acknowledged including any sponsors, supporters and volunteers.
For more information on how to organize your fundraiser, please contact us.
Once again thank you very much for choosing The Dream Factory as your charity for your fundraising event and for helping us to make more dreams come true for Manitoba children suffering from a life-threatening illness.
