The Dream Factory offers fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities. It’s a great way to give back to your community, meet interesting people, and learn new skills. If you’re 16 years or older, please consider volunteering with us. Please note that there is no minimum or maximum amount of required hours for volunteers to put in, there’s no set schedule and opportunities are on an ‘at needs’ basis.
Our major fundraising events, such as the annual auction, are organized by volunteer committees. Committee members help with event planning, implementation, execution, and evaluation. This is a wonderful opportunity for people who enjoy teamwork, finding creative ways to find and acknowledge our valued sponsors and prize donors, and increasing awareness and attendance and for events.
Special Events Volunteers help out at events arranged by The Dream Factory and at third-party fundraisers arranged by local companies. There is a wide variety of events where you can represent The Dream Factory at a booth, help with set-up or dismantling, sell prize tickets, pick up prize donations, register guests, and more. It’s a very flexible volunteer opportunity that’s perfect for people who prefer to occasionally pitch in.
If you have time to help out during the day, we’d love to have you in the office. Office volunteers help with filing, phone calls, mail campaigns, data entry, photocopying, and much more. If you have a special skill to contribute, please let us know how we can work together.
Volunteers are the backbone of The Dream Factory. We truly appreciate your role in helping to make a difference in the lives of local kids who are battling a life-threatening illness. Thank you!
